Every Settings category and what it controls.

For technical users
Settings are stored in the app's user data, not in a project. Keys go to the OS secure storage through Electron safeStorage; the renderer never receives a key. A key that is saved but unreadable is reported as such, with a prompt to re-enter it, rather than failing as "no key". Known cosmetic issue: Settings → Projects & data still says "on this Mac" and "Show in Finder" on Windows and Linux (observed during testing, not yet fixed).
